Privacy Policy

The Dock at Eastern Lake ("The Dock", "we", "us") provides a private neighborhood application for residents of The Dock at Eastern Lake in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@thedock30a.life.

• Account information: your name, email address and mobile phone number, and the invitation that brought you in.
• Household information you choose to add: family members, pets, birthdays and anniversaries, and photos.
• Content you post: feed posts, chat messages, event and potluck sign-ups, photos and comments.
• Communication preferences: push notification settings, and whether you have consented to text messages.
• Technical information needed to run the app: sign-in events, device and browser type, and error logs.

• To create and secure your account and verify that you are an invited resident or guest.
• To deliver the features you use: the neighborhood feed, chat, events, potlucks, galleries and shared expenses.
• To send communications you request or that keep the community informed.
• To keep the service safe, diagnose problems, and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not run third-party advertising.

If you provide a mobile phone number, we collect that number and a record of your SMS consent — whether you opted in, when, and how — so that we can send the text communications you request from The Dock at Eastern Lake.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Mobile numbers and consent records are shared only with our messaging service provider, strictly so it can deliver the messages you asked for on our behalf, and only as required by law.

Text messages you may receive include:

• Account and sign-in messages, including one-time verification codes
• Reservation and sign-up confirmations and reminders
• Service and maintenance notices for the property and shared amenities
• Property and community updates, neighborhood announcements and safety notices
• Replies and other messages a resident specifically requests, such as questions asked of our concierge assistant

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to unsubscribe from SMS messages. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages. Reply START to re-subscribe.

Consent to receive text messages is optional and is never a condition of creating an account or using the application. See SMS Messaging & Opt-In Information for exactly how opt-in works inside the app.

The Dock is private and invitation-only. Other approved members can see your profile, household details you add, and anything you post. You control several visibility settings in the app under Notifications & Privacy. Your mobile phone number is not published in the neighbor directory unless you choose to share it.

Data is stored in a managed cloud database with row-level security so members can only reach the records they are permitted to see. We keep your information for as long as your membership is active. When you leave, we remove or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records to comply with law.

Accounts are created by adult residents. Parents may add children to their household profile; those records are visible only to approved members and are never used for marketing.

• Turn text messages on or off any time in the app under Me → Notifications & Privacy → Text Messages, or by replying STOP to any message.
• Turn push notifications on or off in the app or in your device settings.
• Ask us to correct or delete your information by emailing us.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify members inside the app.
